What the result includes
Monthly basic pay comes from the official DFAS rate for the selected pay grade and service bracket. Annual basic pay is monthly pay multiplied by 12. If you enter BAH, the core-compensation figure also adds the applicable 2026 BAS rate.
Why this is not a take-home calculator
Federal and state tax withholding, FICA, TSP contributions, SGLI, allotments and debts vary by member. Calling a gross-compensation estimate “take-home pay” would create false precision.
